internal linking and google ranking

So i was wondering about internat linking.

If you have a page and want it to rank well do you link to many pages on your site via the text on internal pages?

Also do you link with domain/file name or just filename?

How many links to have on internal pages linking to other internal pages from text?

Is this a know benefit or just speculation?

Is it better than have the links in the menue?

Getting the inner pages linked from the index as well as other pages is a better way to expose them to visitors and it is also a seo trick for yahoo search engine. There are no number limits to the links as long as you never over do it.

 

Use keywords to link to other page on your site. This will help on the SEO aspect. Whenever you see a chance, just do it.

 

By all means link to pages through out your site using anchor text relevant to the content on the page you are linking to. You can drop deep links on forums and even blog posts as long as the link you are using is relevant to the material you are commenting on. It allows the bots to spider deeper into your site and giving those pages a better chance to rank higher for there given keywords.

 

Every step in SEO should be thought out. WEB is for a humans, but not for bots of any kind

completely confuse now, I have studying an ebook told me that internal link is useless, the ebook only suggest external link.

Is internal link really work?

I find internal linking more effective to my site specially in getting rank on major SE.

 

all page should contains at least on link to the internal pages. From any pages must able to move any other page
