when i use link:mysite.com, the result doesn't show any of my internal links. how can this happen? i use joomla. thanks!
IMO this query work for list of your inbound link? that mean are your link from other site. but if your inlink doesnt appear when you search them then i suggest it must be no follow order on your inlinks. cmiiw
I use link: for my website and it does show up internal links (only most important ones). You can use Google webmaster tool to have a more comprehensive list of back links. http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2007/02/discover-your-links.html
this is not to search for your internal links but to search for inbound links. sometimes it will show some internal pages that are linking to your homepage but not always if you are not getting credit for links form the internal pages. if you want to see how many internal pages you got indexed, then use site:url.com
