Interlinking

Hey friends,

So people always say to have a good linking structure on your own site. Can someone elaborate on that?

The way I understand it is that if I have a website about blue widgets all the pages will be linking to my home page with anchor text blue widgets. Is that a correct assumption?

For internal linking, you can spread the PR around your site by good linking.

If you have a page about red widgets, right a blog post about red widgets and link to that page using the keywords red widget.

All your inner pages should link to the home page with the main targeted keyword and also link to the master category..

however, home page should link to the main categories on your site and each category will link to it's own sub categories and items/pages
