Does anyone do this... I've read if you do this with web 2.0 sites you can literally get an explosion in traffic so I guess the same would have to apply to articles too. If for example I link article 1 to article 2 and article 3 to article 1 and then article 4 to article 2 and so on would this prevent the articles from slipping down?
So you mean a linkwheel basically? Absolutely no evidence that I have seen produced to suggest a linkwheel adds any value at all. You could also aruge that if google spots this interlinking as some sort of farm, it make it easier to devalue it all.
Yes that's it. I knew it must have been called something else. Typing in ''interlink articles'' in google bought in no results whatsoever, I thought 'how odd'. I think I've just made a mistake then... I've created a few lenses and hubpages and stuck in the links but didn't wait for it to get indexed before I added the links. I've just read that this is what you have to do for it to be effective.
