    Hello,

I have recently designed a new website in which i am very happy with

    New website: www.avillafan.com/new

As you can see i have cutephp running as my news system witch is added by a simple php code. If i click on read more it opens up in my website new design.

I have recently been told wordpress would be better for seo, and getting my website more indexed pages on google.

So i have installed wordpress which can be found at www.avillafan.com/beta

I tried to use a script that takes my news from cutenews to wordpress which hasnt worked properly, only showing the short story and not the full story from cutenews. Does anyone know any other scripts or another way i can go about doing this successfully?

And then secondly, how can i get wordpress to work in my website, in the same way that cutenews works in my website?

Thanks for any help in advance

I don't see where wordpress is even installed. There is no way for me to help without having FTP access, so I'll tell you to make a new folder...something simple like "/blog" and do a fresh installation of WP, follow the 5 minute installation steps on wordpress.org and go from there.
You can't successfully integrate it into another platform without a lot of coding and WP needs it's own database, but you can pick a theme that closely matches your website, (which shouldn't be too hard, it's a simple 2 sidebar set up, there are hundreds of those around for free) and change your colors, header image, and even the buttons to match what you already have going on.

Honestly, I would start from scratch (you only have a few articles) and use a WP theme that gives you the static look that you want on the home page, but still retains all blog functionality...there are many options out there, you can even go premium and get something really nice, easy to operate with a user friendly back end, for under $100 or cheaper.
