What do you think would be a value of a tool that creates new twitter account and loads it up with 1000 followers? I'm using this internally now and I wonder if people would be willing to pay for something like this. Could be more than 1000 and/or targeted, with different pricing levels too.
that and just overall use, look for bugs, etc. click through rates on a longer scale would be good info. if it is a good that would take the price up. sounds like a good tool.
it'd be released as a web service, not a stand-alone tool. that by itself solves a lot of the issues with multi-platform compatibility. how many followers would it need to get before it becomes interesting? maybe 1000 targeted or 10k non-targeted? I'm thinking $15-20 per such twitter user (with all rights to the account transferred - password, email account, etc). Makes sense?
i would only go with targeted or it would not be worth more than any other service that supplies junk followers. i thought you were selling the tool but it now sounds like you are selling an account service. that changes things. you will need to find out how good followers are before you make a price. i would not spend $15 on a twitter account if you didn't know what kind of results i would get for the money.
Right. I think service is the way to go. I don't mind offering few dozes of accounts for free for people to try to build reputation & feedback. Interesting that you don't find find the non-targeted accounts useful. They're useless for promotions, but for social signals, to improve crawl/index rates, they coudl be valuable. Am I missing something?
no, you are correct. they will make you look good and gets rid of some follow limits i think. i dont see how it would speed up indexing etc. if they are not clicking through. of course im no twitter expert and could be wrong. i would rather have 1k targeted. they might retweet, etc. also, if you got 10k followers with little to no tweets would you not get marked as a spam account? i still need an account for my new site. if you want i can let you know what kind of click throughs i get. good luck.
People buy Twitter followers like crazy these days. If your tool can give real followers, then I think you have your share of the market
