Interesting Infraction

I didn't realize this but in the Directories/ Solicitations & Announcements Section of DP, If you state that you added your site to a directory even if you have other information with that you can recieve a "Running Up Post Count/Post Has No Value" infraction.

An example of this is at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=1551958#post1551958. I'm assuming most people don't know this, because it is done through out that section.

Maybe the difference is that I also let him know I added a link back to him

At any rate, I thought others might need to know this before they start getting reds too.

I got the same infraction (in a different forum) but the link back doesn't work, so I don't even know what they're on about.

 

Read the link that I mentioned was a sticky (above). This is something new, mostly people who make comments in the directory submission section.

Yeah, but mine was in a different forum, not Directories/ Solicitations & Announcements (where I have never posted).

What is an infraction?.What really happens in an infraction?Can you give me two examples of causing an infraction on DP.I may have framed the question in a wrong way.Please pardon me .I am new to DP.Still a long way to go.
