All this talk about people being millionaires and not coming on the forums and how hard it would be to make a million pounds or dollars or whatever got me thinking. My advertising methods, products and services i provide sell for around $1 per service or product. I focus on this price because $1 is not a lot for people to give up, many people have $1 lying around in their bank accounts or pay pal accounts or sheesh i have like $36 on my desk and i live in England. My point is with everyone talking about the work and time that has to be put in to make one million dollars and how hard it is to succeed in making one million dollars i don't think it is. My aim is to make one million pounds so about two million dollars by the time i am 25. I plan on doing this mainly on the internet from selling services and products for $1. There are now over 1,319,872,109 people surfing on the internet (statistics provided from http://www.internetworldstats.com/stats.htm) which is a lot of potential customers. I only need 1 million of those people to pay me $1 each so that i can make one million dollars and two million of those people so i can make one million pounds. Come on now? Is that really as difficult as people thing? I do not think so, yes i believe it takes time, yes i believe you need to have a decent service or product to make such an amount of money. However you could also make this from several different products all over the internet. The key is not thinking out side of the box, ok that may work better and quicker, it may not. You just have to market and advertise your product/service there is enough people on the internet that want to buy your product that you shall make enough money of it. Just thought i would share this with you. Please vote on the poll. Will - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=730378
Here's the problem with going for $1. Let's say you make 50 sales per day, that's keeping busy. At that rate, not accounting for paypal fees, it would take you 109 years to get $2,000,000. Heck, to get it within just ONE year you would need 5,479 sales PER DAY EVERY DAY. Gives you a bit of perspective on how much it really is.
Thats a great point to make my friend, i did not really explain everything before it obviously is not as simple as that shown through your point exactly. With paypal being ripping of little 'gits' it is made even harder. However, i am planning on offering more than one product/service so most people probably would not buy just $1's worth. They may buy $5-$10 worth. I am still working on it, however i like the idea of small products/services cheap prices large customer base. Will.
