Interested in creating something that will make us millionaires.

I am looking for someone to help me create a website that has a unique template, maybe like deviantart , where you can have your own profile, built in with a wall , photo gallery and everything else, along with "uploaded videos" "uploaded photos" which will be separate, but work as on youtube, where all content uploaded by a person is on their profile. I also want this project to have a huge flash game section, a huge forum with wysiwyg editor for bbcode , a meme generator , and a general all-in-one comment system, with a live feed of comments on any page on the person's profile. I want everything to be modern , from ability to use html 5 in posts with "current news" to hd playback on the player for video sharing. I know it seems like a ton, but if you can point me in the direction of a framework that could possibly help me, something that isnt as crappy as wordpress or joomla , maybe I should write it myself? If anyone has money and wants in, please pm me, I can lead the project , anyone that works on the project can have dividends if everything goes through , which in todays world, could mean millions. No, I dont have money for a server , that is the main reason I am asking you experts for help. Thank you, and please, just pm me if you are interested.

This website runs scripts that are pretty cool, but they are classified ad or directory scripts , which I might add later on after I have the core, which I stated above completed. Anyways , I sent in an inquiry.

 

Did they reply to you yet? you know the core is free right you can download and start playing with it now and you can even develop your own plugins for it.

Can I ask you how will you get traffic on this website? The website can be the best, but without traffic will not make money.

 

I will begin by writing about it on my current website, while also spending a bit on adwords. I will set up a twitter, facebook , and probably a pinterest account for the content.
Also going to make youtube tutorials , all that stuff. All revenue might be ad revenue , until of course it becomes popular and we can add features that are paid. Or perhaps simply "do surveys to get these features" or even "do surveys to get paid (a portion) of the money upfront. This will be a difficult task, but once a few people catch on, its like pushing a ball uphill, you know? Then it just goes downhill

Well, I can allow people to share their artwork, movies, photos , blogs , flash games and let other members of the community interact about whatever is being added. The whole purpose is to create a type of social network that does not have standard limitations , we can throw in classified ads, dating and hashtag (#) microblogging (rather than a status update) and we have something that I doubt anyone would "pass up".
It would be the standard social network idea, people that know each other can connect , people that enjoy each other's work can connect, and people that want to work together (or date) can connect. This will effectively eliminate the need for using third party websites, like youtube , facebook, linkin etc. It would be a website that would do everything, except better.
I guess you can call it "social networking reinvented" , the key here is to get people to interact , and not just in the standard "facebook group" manner, we want them to interact on a deeper level , and become addicted.
Just imagine, the younger people will be all over a flash games section , some middle to older people will be reading news.
Others might be watching videos, or uploading photos ; perhaps artwork or something.
And some lonely old guys might be using it to chat up with locals , in hopes of not being alone forever. Best of all, everything will be free.
The funds , once again, will come from both "do surveys to make money -%-" and advertising.
Eventually we can work up to giving people the ability to get email addresses through us. At that point, we would have something large, but with no external links to external sites.
My dream is to make it 100% independant. No youtube, no twitter , nothing ,not even google images.
And since it will be community lead, there really wont be a need to develop anything but the basics (people will be adding the content).
My problem, once again, is time, lack of money and lack of manpower :/
Yes, at first there will be an "opt-in" newsletter , which is also effective advertising.

I think that what you dont understand is that niche websites die quickly. In today's world, people buy websites to make a quick profit , then abandon them.
I want to create something that will last, something that will make me and whoever wants in MILLIONAIRES , not a few thousand dollars and we go home.
Niches are dumb, the recent accumulation of "get rich quick scams" from 2003-2013 have been "make a website, make passive income.
This has saturated the market for basic wordpress "few page" sites. The reason being is, people use blakhat seo like spamming backlinks, paid backlinks and backlink factories to rank high , until google catches them and they take what they made and start over.
There was a site recently that did this, called ex4me. It failed, and the script was duplicated on like 10 other sites, which will all fall apart in a few months.
At the "find the niche" type of thing, its better to just make porno websites. Please also not, you are relying on third party sites for "affiliate products" and "publisher ads". The third party can and will take away your source of income at their leisure. So you are well off just making a malware site and getting a few hundred thousand dollars and heading off to mexico?
I will never give up, defeatism is not in my nature, and where is your example? Do show me.

 

The problem is:

For projects like yours you need a team. Capital to start AdWords. If you got this it's possible. I supposed you are alone.

I wanted to create kinda the same you want. I got a site with:

- a section with all the rage faces
- people can post new rage faces
- people can post memes
-> a section like 9gag, with animated gifs made possible
- a download all in one rage faces function
- a somehow working meme generator

wasn't enough.

 

Money is always an issue, but sometimes people get lucky and get "sponsored" by a rich person that wants more money. The market is not saturated with these "giant style" websites , maybe I have found a nice niche and a practical concept at the same time.
I asked here to recruit people based on final outcome for a reason, I assumed you were all experienced, and some of you may be wealthy.
I think 10-20 people working on this might be more than enough , but it will be charity work until we debut ! And then we shall slowly grow. Soon, we will grow to the field of giants, I want to see us directly threaten youtube, facebook and twitter as "the next big ting". We must all dream big, and under my leadership, I believe it can be done.

Ambitious project. Millions will not be made without spending a few million first. Something most startups fail to understand. I have yet to see any project that spent pennies and their own development time to make millions. They might be able to sell off for that much if they made enough of an impact but the cost of running anything successful, let alone development, is pretty huge.

That being said, I do not wish to discourage you. You have to ask yourself what are the things you can rely on yourself for? Development, capital, ??? seems to me you have very little to offer except for your big idea. Which means you need to rely on someone else. What is the timeline? If you are project manager I am sure you would have split this up into smaller parts and focus on what needs to be done first and by when. What are the parts that are already in?

Another way is to find another startup or project that has failed or wants to get out of the business. They can be bought over along with the talent. In this world (of software and web) talented people is the main resource which every smart investor will recognize. Now then let's say you want to buy over, A percentage of your project can be bought over and this is from my personal experience, i doubt you will be lucky enough to hear this from someone on a forum... what is the number? 1-4 million US$ starting.


I am working on a similar project but it has probably only 1-2 things of all you mentioned. But I can manage , develop and run the initial capital by myself. It is niche product because it fits the market, but not in the IM way you described. I do agree with you there on "those" niche sites.
