That's illegal (with digg) and it will get you banned.

 

Having friends is not illegal, but digging stories for the purpose of getting them to the front page (without being front page worthy) is.

 

well i am sure we can do it from time to time you can add me to your msn and post me some link sometimes

 

How does it work anyways? You exchange links and get your story on top?

From what I have heard, digg has an excellent system for tracking down cheaters.

I didn't get banned and I digg everyday for my friends. I also digg other stories. Perhaps if you digg only certain friends you get banned. Who is interested in adding me in the list please give me a PM.

 

Guys having friends is not a bad thing.
Also when you have friends on Digg, and they digged an article, this article will have a green ribbon which will tell you a friend of yours digged it.

If you find it worthy for the front page, digg it, if not, let it there

Btw, I read recently, Digg admin said that they have implemented checks to prevent groupism.
