I've been kind of flirting around with the idea of letting my baby go. I've had it, and developed it, since '03, but I never got my hands around it and made it into the site i've always wanted. It's gone through 2 iterations of the site, with the current iteration being run with the Joomla CMS package.

I wish i could give you specific stats on the site, but my hosting had to switch servers and with it, I lost my webalizer stats. However, here's a screenshot of what it's doing this month.

Decent traffic. Also, I'm having some issue with the front page counter (guests online) that will be fixed shortly..it's not refreshing correctly, so do not go by that as a reliable stat.

As for current revenue, adsense has done squat, but that's been large part my fault. I haven't optimized the 2 iterations of the site correctly. Just this month, I've done maybe $13 with it.

However, on a bright note, i did put up some click bank links on the first page and lo and behold someone bought an ebook, for a total profit to me of $12. I put the click bank stuff up probably 2 weeks ago and got my first sale. Not to shabby.

The graphics header was done as a design contest held on sitepoint. The vbulletin graphics were also done by me, but if I were to keep the site I would completely update it.

I rank #1 on google, #1 on yahoo, and #4 on MSN for "diet forums"

The traffic is definately there, and the niche market is there. I don't know. Kind of curious to see what kind of offers I could get on the site. I've been in this game long enough to know when something is "potential" and when something is "eh..whatever". Given to the right development team, person, company, this site could make a killing. Low $x,xxx wouldn't be considered at this time. I am planning on purchasing some property soon, so this would be a nice chunk to contribute to it.

Wow, wasn't aware..thanks for the heads up. It looks like several of joomla's components are throwing it out of wack.

You've got some module problems under "latest referrels." Has the forum been up since 2003? Why so few posts?

You've got a great point, lol. I think I'm going to invest some time into this site and clean it up. I'm still not convinced that joomla is the best gateway application to display this site either. The traffic is there, but as we all know, it's HOW you get your information across..

Matt, I had the board running on IPB for several years and recently within the past year or so I upgraded to vbulletin. In the process, a lot of what I carried over didn't carry over. So I had at one point a fresh board db installed.

Still looking for some interest in this site. I moved servers after I listed this post, and a bunch of the traffic has weaned off. However, I'm still getting between 200-300 visits a day. To lazy to post screenshots, however, imagine the stats image in the first post with numbers of visitors in the 200 and 300 range. If I have any serious inquiries, i can take the screenshot and forward it :) But trust me, it's what I say it is.

After listing this for interest back in January, I did a site overhaul. It looks a LOT different than before (and in my opinion- better).

    Like I said, it's a 3 year old site,
Adsense has been pretty low - $50 or so since January, and I've only done a couple of clickbank sales. But in all honesty, I haven't paid ANY attention to this site besides an occasional post here and there in the forums.

I'm a victim of to many projects, not enough time or interest. I'm currently working with or developing close to 30 projects. PLUS, I have my Article Authors business which is constantly keeping me busy.

I think we have close to 500 articles in queue to be written for the next couple of weeks, so I need to manage all of that too, lol.

This baby has been aging well though. listed in all the major directories, close to 1,000 backlinks in msn (44 reported in google), and is in the tight niche spot for dieting.

Still looking for viable offers in the mid $x,xxx range. To quell any "but your revenue doesn't support that" arguments, i'm not looking to sell on revenue attained. Domain name, age, serp rankings, and content go a looong way.

I'm not worried if i don't find a buyer either, I can let this thing age another couple of years :) I just need to find time to *throw myself* into it.

I'll even throw in a bonus if I find the right buyer, I'll have a couple of my writers do 30 or so brand new 400 word articles on any diet subject you want. You can then populate the site with brand new content.

The last thing I did to the site when I converted the template was that I had 8 new articles made as well. So you get some original content with the site.

You will also receive the new skin I'm scheduled to have coded too. I had a designer do the skin, and then I had a HUGE fall out with a very unreliable coder. Needless to say, I'm still shopping for a coder. Here is the skin that will be installed in the forums before final purchase-

Like I said, I'm searching for some interest. Please no PM's of I think it's worth this, or what would you take for it. I'd like to see some offers in the mid $x,xxx range. Please PM me all offers or interest. Thanks!

    David
