It really helps to break down walls of bigotry and hate!

Even my own walls, I broke down a few cuz of love. ;)

Anything that goes against love, goes against God in my book. (and I don't mean romantic love, but real love)

Interfaith marriage encouraged, I don't know.. why not?

I think religion should be discouraged but making fun of religious people more often.

There will always be people who believe that their way of worshiping God is better than someone else's, but I think for most rational people it doesn't matter.
I always find it a little interesting going to a different church. It's all the same, some just emphasize different books than others. The end result is the same.

People are mostly hypocrites and will do what ever suites their needs at the time.

I've known women that would not date or marry a man who is not Jewish, but they have no problem picking up a Bartender for a one nighter on a "Girls Week End" in Las Vegas.

People convictions are just as conveniently forgotten as their religion when it comes down to it..

I guess you guys dont understand that it has nothing to do with racism or bigotry. If i didnt believe in my faith(im catholic) absolutely i call myself catholic. I guess it all depends on the religion but in my faith marriage is one of the sacrements of the church, and while i have best friends from all religions and athiests i cannot marry outside my religion. I cant even fathom me going to one church and my wife going to another. It just wont happen. I was always taught that the family that prays together stays together, but then again this is what i believe in and i never shove my beliefs down my friends throat, but they definately know my convictions and how i will marry. I respect them and they respect me. Very simple.

What do you think of a fellow Catholic who marries a non-Catholic?

In conservative countries, such as mine, this is very difficult, at times impossible. There is a lot of pressure from he society, from family, from peers. When there are 10s of different types of cultures living together in a society, and all of them competing to protect their turf, to protect their unique and cultures and traditions and languages, interfaith marriages can cause serious problems.

But I really wish people would listen to their hearts more. Marry the person you love instead of bending to the pressure from society. This area of personal liberty is where Western nations have progressed a lot vis-a-vis Eastern countries.

I support people's right to marry anyone they love, irrespective of their believes or faith. I support interfaith marriages.
