Ok ok, So they released the Q6600's, which AMD have 'just' managed to cath up with, then they have to Q9550 to chase after, not to mention the core i7.

So do AMD already have big enough mountains to climb?
Intel obviously dont think so, they have just announced the release of 3 new types of CPU.

32nm Processors, which apparently have up to 22% performance increase over the old transistors. Which are going to be powerful!

    AND

A CPU with an integrated GPU, Plus a 6 core CPU.

"this is where it starts to get interesting, as Intel has revealed its plans to make a top-end six-core desktop processor that’s capable of handling twelve threads with Hyper-Threading. Codenamed Gulftown, the new CPU is scheduled to be released in 2010. As well as this, Intel has also now officially revealed its plans for the first eight-core Xeon processor, codenamed Nehalem-EX, which will be built with 45nm transistors"

Even with the MASSIVE head start that they already have on AMD, Intel just dont stop releasing amazing technology.
