I was just reading a blog, and the buggers got me all excited over the new Intel SATA 3 drives but then near the end they basically say don't bother?! Are the OCZ SATA 3 drives really that much faster or cheaper? Is there really much difference in the real world performance of these drives where someone who wants reliability would still do better to stick with Intel drives? Seems like everything I read on-line is an advert and the only honest opinions are when I make a poor assumption on a forum or chat and all the techy nerds school me. This is one topic I would love some feedback on because I really need to squeeze all I can out of my computer's speed without spending a fortune and I know I have an old HDD. Thanks in advance for any input.. Wish I had the link for the blog.. Stupid history isn't there when you need it and always there when someone types something embarrassing into my browser! EDIT: Found the blog post (it was in Google Reader/RSS when I saw it ;P) http://www.beanstalk-inc.com/blog/2011/03/intel-510-6gbps-ssd/
