Not sure where exactly to post this, but i want to integrate SMS technology with my website for user verification etc..

Hence, i need some hosting provider to provide SMS sending services.

It would be really helpful if anybody could mention any names , or point me in the right direction.

    Thanks.

I have been using clickatell.com for several years and I in fact use them on many sites and intranets.

    I would highly recommend them.

They have many ways of doing it but the best and easiest is the SMTP method which is basically the sending of an email via your server to their and the sms gets sent.

I have a good example here. Its my own site and I offer free sms but you have to verify you r account first via mobile.

http://www.marbellaguide.com/free-sms.asp (or type "free sms europe" into google, we are usually number 1)

Once signed up you can send 3 sms messages per day to the countries listed.

I dont sell the numbers or emails or anything to third parties, there is no catch, its just a free service for genuine people.

I currently have just over 7,500 members and I fund the service myself.

    :D

I have taken the sms service at marbellaguide.com/sms offline for a few days to fix some bugs.

    It will be back soon.

    :)

I now use a mixture of clickatell.com and cardboardfish.com now as sms providers.
