I am getting read to hire a designer to design a home page and inner page template for me. I then want to have the design integrated with a script (demo can be found here: http://demo.ilance.com/). My question is should I (and the designer) take into consideration the layout/design of the script when coming up with a design for the site? Will it be hard for a programmer to integrate the script with a site that has a layout/design that is completely different from what the script looks like stock? I'm no programmer, so I'm just wondering if a programmer will have a hard time/charge more if I make a design without any regard to how the script comes stock. Any advice would be appreciated.
if you keep the same structure, that won't be any problem, but if you design something with a different linking scheme then that will be longer; but this is just linking (depends how many pages...).
I would suggest you to approach some good web development company (like ours) who have access to both Developers and Designers and can get the work done as per your needs taking the costs to be minimal.
Thanks for the replies. Nitin Gupta, I may just contact you... I just have to do some more research first. Any other comments would be appreciated as well.
