    We use Magpie for all our sites that uses RSS feed. Great script with caching.
    Very easy to setup and easy to configure it to the way you want.
    You can easily configure the number of items to display.

    I too tried to use CaRP, and amazingly I managed to get it working quite easily! Yes, it is surprising for me and therefore I'm very happy with the service!

    Yes, carp can be confusing at first with all the setter functions, but the control it renders in nice.

    Bottom line is whatever works for you. The point is to have a good caching aggregator.
