integrated forum

    what cms are you using?If wordpress, you should install bbpress for a lightweight, basic forum.
    if you want a forum like dp, buy a vbulletin license for $160 or get phpbb for free.

    there are a lot of solutions for forums out there. Google some of them. If you need some help
    getting the implimentation done, then send me a pm i may be able to assist ya.

    yes we are using wordpress as our cms and need someone to implement a themed forum that fits with the site design...

    I just used an iframe then put the link to my forums in there. Turned out just how I wanted it to.

    Nope,

    If you want full and complete wordpress integration with a forum, use the plugin Simple Forum. It's become hugely popular and he's exceeded his bandwidth for the day but check on the web for copies of it.

    It will beat using bridges (which get very technical very fast) to create a link between your CMS and forum.
