Integrated forum?

    Hi, I want to build a site that has an integrated forum.

    but I dont know where to start.
    would you please kindly give some suggestions?

    There are many different ways to do this.
    Example: You use wordpress you have forum vbulletin. You may use Wordpress/Vbulletin Bridge for integrate your vbulletin forum with wordpress.
    Or install wordpress forum plugin bbpress http://bbpress.org/.
    You can use CMS Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla and add plugin forum or integrate forum cms (vbulletin, IPB, phpBB).
    If you use plugin forum for cms ussually functional easier than in the forum cms (vbulletin, IPB, phpBB).

    Most wordpress forum plugins are nothing like forums such as phpBB/vBulletin. A good way for integration with normal forums is to display the most recent posts on the main part of your site to funnel the traffic to the forum.
