Integrated Article Directory or Forums to my current directory, is it any worth?

Hi there, please give me some suggestion about integrated some of these into my directory site.

1. Article Directory
2. Forums

Do you think is it any worth to do that? would it make my site better or worse?

An article directory might work ok, but not a forum. Not unless your a really big dog.

 

I am not trying to discourage you, but article directories seem to be blooming everywhere. Therefore, the marketing needed to make them work is becoming more of a factor . . . especially if you are trying to attract content which is not already in all the other article directories.

I agree with mdvaldosta about forums. Unless you are offering a support forum, you need to have a busy site. Empty forums discourage participation.

Thank you for your suggestion. At first, I thought to create "Real estate article directory" and "Real estate forums" integrated with my current real estate directory. Just want to built content and community. I'm not intend to built supports forum coz I'm selling nothing. But article directory still in my point. Contents participated might not be unique but if it's real estate related, it's ok. Thank you again my friends.
