Integrate Amazon and other CJ affiliate items with a BANS store?

Has anyone integrated an Amazon store and a BANS ebay store together? Is it possible to do this?

What I was envisioning was not mixing at the product/item description level, but mixing the category links together, or creating my own list of categories that then goes to keyword-driven searches for items on amazon and ebay.

yes you can do that. you can also put in some popshops feeds which I just started yesterday and they seem quite good albeit fairly simple. but used in the right way I think may be effective.

you can put amazon or whoever else into addition content pages and just paste the html into the editor onto the relevant content page.

no need to limit yourself to just ebay.

BANS is very customizable and you can whatever you like in the content or the sidebars.

    mcjp6: what are popshop feeds?

Do you guys have any luck with Amazon? I personally have extremely low commissions from them. I understand that they only have a one day cookie.. I've been looking for alternative to Amazon.

i don't do amazon, very low commission. cj is much better I think.

popshops is basically the same as the rss bans feeds but they feed cj products and around 4/5 other affiliate agents. as I said they are fairly basic in their layout but you can do some nice things with them.

you can have up to 10 "shops" with them for free. go to popshops.com. I am not affiliated with them by the way.

I think they started to make it easy for kids to put ads on blogs etc

    good luck

My only issue (I haven't tried them though).. is that the widget won't be good for search engines like eBay RSS feeds on a site. Wouldn't it be basically the same as putting a eBay Editor Kit on your site.. then you have to solely rely on keywords in your content vs the products themselves?

I would agree on Amazon, but I could see some of my niches working well with books.. since I do get clicks on other items... been thinking of Barnes & Nobles next.. any experience with them?

I didn't do it in BANS, but I did integrate Amazon and eBay.. I then seeded it with keywords (nearly 700,000)...

I believe this is close to what you're talking about, no?

Integreating amazon and ebay is a very sucessful solution. Add a couple of other items like adsense and kontera, and you'll have a good money formula
