Intalling Apache

    Currently the organization I worked for is using a Apache Tomcat Web Server.

    I am working on a project where I am using php as the coding language.

    I know how to install apache.
    I know how to install php

    What I need is how to install Apache when the current server is Apache Tomcat.

    What is the base OS that you are running on? Also are you uninstalling the current Apache Tomcat and installing Apache?

    The OS is RedHat Linux Enterprise
    Database is MySQL

    No we are not uninstalling Tomcat since my we had procure an application base on java platform (jsp).

    try mod jk :)

    i didnt installed but it is like apache will main server and tomcat will be diff port

    any .jsp , servlet mapping will be managed by tomcat via apache
