If you don't have $$$ to blow, retract from it. The name itself is worth something like $xx,xxx if not $xxx,xxx, so prolly you have no chances winning.
high $x,xxx low $xx,xxx depending on how well that TLD is welcomed.. $2,000-$2,500 would be a safe max bid so as not to lose much if the TLD does junklist. ..and its highly possible that it will. However, its mostly improbable that it'll happen and go to the junklist mainly b/c of the new social networking capabilities that'll let you upload your profile directly to your own domain.. yet, it still might be a lame TLD in a few years after the hype.. the bubble will burst from all the peeps expecting high prices b/c they paid high... and then they'll all mostly be left with $xx .me's that no one wants to buy. ...don't buy what you can't AFFORD to lose!!! seriously.. I'm still only in .com's... I don't see much potential in these new TLD's... its just a way to increase internet activity for peeps with speculation of a new .com like TLD.. with strength of unrealized proportions..
tuff question, but one thing dont get carried away and just bid for the trend of bidding as there might be endusers such as insureme.com, insureme.ie, insuremeonline.com, insuremect.com,,,,,, bidding as well
