What else does it take for conservatives to see the insurance industry is here to make a profit and not serve the American people.

Hye that's what business does right? Make profit. Except the problem is, this is our national health care system!

Health care is too important to be for profit...

If we don't have a public option in place to keep these guys in check there is absolutely NO REASON for them to change their ways. And if we threaten them, they'll just raise rates. Go free market!

They showed their cards with this one. I'm hoping that it backfires in a big way and can be used to push moderate Democrats into supporting the Public Option as a way of keeping the insurance companies from gouging their customers.

Yea I hope the public option goes through paying for health insurance is a pain in the ass even tho I hardly use it. I just have it for a What if situation for I don't end up with 100k in medical debt.

Maybe they can look into car insurance prices after this lol I just paid for that and it wasn't cheap.
