Instead of reciprocal linking....

Having read that the search engines aren't looking too favourabley on recip linking, i was wondering of the alternatives.

    3 way linking
    web rings

    or...

one way linking between 2 webmasters and 3 sites:

    Webmaster-A site 1 > Webmaster-B site 2
    Webmaster-A site 1 < Webmaster-B site 3

If that could be arranged the one way linking has to be the best strategy?? Obviously this is quite alot of hassle though to set up.

Webmaster-B site 3 suffering very much, isn´t he?
Does the Webmaster-B site 2 have enough money for this great promotion?

lol...well hopefully you know what i mean...some kind of "i can link this site to yours if you link your site to my other site" scenario. 2 one way links produced...

I'm just fishing for ideas on what's better than recip and 3way linking really :)

well the triangle linking, I suppose I already posted here.
I did a test (a long time ago) and I practically had nothing to say, during some limited period once first was the winner and then next month the second, etc...
I have no advice for this from my last couple of months, so I don´t know.

He is asking if it is possible and how. I have no idea, it is getting much tougher these days I will admit. Seems like the only way to get links is to buy them...

I really don't think so... to show you what I mean, PM me with your site details and I will show you how to get at least 10 PR3-PR5 permanent links for free (if you pay me a couple hundred dollars :).

The best thing to do is get one-way blinks. There are a lot of unmoderated blogs and forums you can leave your links on, ideally with a script so you don't have to waste any time.

With a script? You make me sick :) I delete / have to moderate scores of posts to my blog every day for months, I know I should change to an image recognition thing, I really only get a couple real comments per month ( blog.new-eastside.com ) Also spammers recently started targeting my SMF forum which I previously thought was immune. At least I was able to simply change some setting to circumvent it.
