Instant Website Thumbanail Generator

    Hi

    Does anyone know where I can find a tool that will generate thumbnails automatically from its URL.


    Basically what I mean is:

    tool.com/gen.php?site=http://www.google.com/


    Would generate a 400x300 thumbnail automatically

    And also it would be easy to change the URL.

    Any Ideas?

    If I'm not wrong, you're trying to create thumbnail automatically form a link to a website, right? I think wordpress have this thing called "snap", and they have it under GPL license..

    Thats very similar to what I need but I want it in an image tag rather than when hovering over a link.

    something simmilar to http://www.websnapr.com/ but doesn't have the queing

    I too am actually wondering about this... Check my profile, heck even check yours... they have a thumbnail of my website on it!!
