Instant notification of blog updates?

    Is it possible to get instantly emailed/notified when someone updates their blog with a new post? If so, how? RSS usually takes awhile.

    I think RSS is the fastest way at the moment.

    you can try commentsniper from Duncan Carver, you can choose which blog you want tracking the updated.
