there is something very artificial about the current crap rankings which make me think this is some sort of penalty.

I had the same thing happen today. A penis enlargement site of mine dropped from #1 for several quality terms to 100-110. I almost crapped myself when I saw 3% of normal traffic today!

I am going to give it a week or so before flipping out, but this site is a MAJOR part of my income.

Sign up with Googles webmaster tools. This gives you a pretty good idea of what Google thinks of your site and if there are any major site problems

I have resubmitted my sitemaps and also done the drastic step of filling out a resubmission form on WMT. We just cant afford to be out of google on the busiest time of the year.

NYDAz, saw your thread here. http://groups.google.com/group/Goog...read/thread/14822e8d607dc131#1215b44f3ec53c19

Just to let you know, that i have now (before i read that actually) removed all the 5 links pages linked to from my front page. Also, as already mentioned, i have resubmitted a new sitemaps to google and filled out the Request reconsideration form on google webmaster tools. Will keep you informed. lets hope we will both be out of this soon.

I think I've founded the solution ...... delete all your reciprocal links pages ... or matt cutts will come after you ...

If only I knew that ... ... ooohhh ... well let's see now what the request reinclusion will say !

I will tell you when I observe something on my website !

I will go look for natural links .... pfffff (hard)

It looks like it's a "minus 350" penalty for me. Anyone know what this penalty usually indicates?

same here..posted about this some time ago
maybe is the same problem..I am already over this and building links from .com domains hosted in US as a measure
I think it has to do with the geo-location of the backlinks and that stuff
try checking your rankings with a proxy from another country...I bet are just fine

I tried that and the results are exactly the same.

NYDAz, do you mind adding me to your MSN? I am now convinced we have the exact same penalty.
