I have seen some tools out there that basically write articles by pulling lines from other articles and putting them together in a readable format. What are peoples opinions on this type of software...... From a duplicate content standpoint....? From a readablity standpoint....? From a SEO standpoint? Are there any situations where this tools would be useful?
Nope these articles can't be a perfect one. Although search engines can be deceived by these articles, Humans and Google will find the error and will get zero traffic for the site...
Those cannot be called articles to begin with, they are simply junk and they do not add value to the web. In the long run, such an approach is never worth it. While from a duplicate content standpoint you may get away with using such articles, you cannot expect your website to have any credibility with such content. F1RM
They create more junk to pollute the SERPS. You'd get more long-term value with real quality content.
I agree, these tools are more often then not rubbish; I usually use PLR articles and then just adjust them to fit my need. Failing that, write your own or get someone else to See my signature for my PLR article (Private label articles) website; 35 000 + articles.
Rightly said by kittylluver, SEs may be decieved by this trick. But from readability point, a site using such content cannot have good traffic or may be no traffic.
Also, you wont be able to create a dedicated reader base with some tricks. Once unique and quality content serves this purpose.
I'm not using things like that. There are just a lost of time and money. Search engines are getting smarter and smarter and will ban whoever use them.
And this is why a lot of "business owners" never achieve success and go back to their Wal-Mart jobs where they belong. Not a knock on Wal-Mart or anyone in this thread by the way. Look, imagine you turned on your TV and every two seconds you got a different channel. Would you tune in for long? Would you come back again and again? Would you tell your friends to watch? No, no and no. There are two types of sites. 1. You build relationships. People like the site's content and they come back. 2. Each day is a new beginning. You're constantly recycling visitors. Which one do you think builds up over time and makes more money? If you said #2, thank you for not being part of the viable competition.
