I think its not easy to find such article directories ans even if you find them, they are not help you a lot to get traffic as they are not popular directories.
There are many such 'instant approval' article directories. But do you think you want to go to such directories that are 'easy to spam'? Regarding sites 'like' hubpages, you can probably try some 'free blogs' sites.
