I have two questions. First, how do I install SQL Server Enterprise Edition on Windows XP? And second, how can I find the SQL password without using an application?

First and only question...why in the world would you install Enterprise Ed. on XP? Try out a Virtual Server or VMWare Workstation. Install Server 2000/2003/2008 and then install SQL Ent. within.

you can't install SQL Server Enterprise on xp it's not compatible only the developer edition, you will need to install windows server 2003 or 2008

Enterprise Edition won't install on XP. You can install Developer Edition on XP and get the same functionality as the Enterprise Edition. Alternatively, you can create a Virtual Server image that is running the compatible OS version and then install SQL Server Enterprise Edition into that.
What you mean by SQL password?
