Installing phpmyadmin

Hello,

I am trying to install phpmyadmin on my new server.

My server is CentOS 5.2 with Webmin installed.

I have tried to install it using

yum install phpmyadmin

This works however I have no idea what to do next.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

 

Normally after that you can access it http://www.yoursite.com/phpmyadmin

Yeah it didn't

But, I've managed to find this http://keystoneit.wordpress.com/2006/11/09/webmin-and-phpmyadmin-on-ubuntu-dapper/ and by adding the apache redirects and alias's it is now working

Although I need to upgrade php to version 5.2

Anyone know how to do that easily?

 

not easily coz from what i know yum uses 5.1 still ... install version 2 of phpmyadmin to make it work properly
