installing IE7 on my windows xp edittion

    Hi!
    I'm using windows xp on my pc. i'm trying to install IE7 and from some reason at the end of instalLation process - it says that my windows version isn't compatible to the files.
    why is that? i need IE7- what shell i do?

    For installing IE 7 in Windows XP you need to have minimum Windows XP Service Pack 2.

    Aajay hit it on the head you need SP2 before installing IE7+ but aspire has a good point as well, FF out performs IE by miles, and is down right more secure!

    I should always check the code on IE7 as well as FF and other browsers, correct?
    Is it good enough to check the website only in FF and not check it on IE7?

    No it is never a good practice to check only in one browser.
