Installing ffmpeg, mplayer, mencoder, flvtools2, etc

    How can i install ffmpeg, mplayer, mencoder, flvtools2, etc to my video streaming site?

    Im using godaddy shared hosting

    It comes preinstalled on your host you cant installl it

    Is it a dedicated server or VPS? If its shared hosting, you need to ask the host to install it for you.

    you would need to get a better hosting company that already has this stuff installed, otherwise your going to be sitting there with no site if it needs FFMPEG and all the parts with it.

    if you got shell access(normal shell not jail shell) on godaddy then you can install it as local package without needing to be root.
