I have been running Apache on my laptop now for a while but when my laptop is off it isnt hosting the website. I needed a file server for our house and realised i could host the website off it (with it being on permenantly) so i bought a NAS caddy. Its being delivered in a few days. I have an 80gb HDD in my old computer (IDE) that i will be putting in the caddy and plugging it by ethernet cable into my livebox. I know that websites can be hosted like this because drives like Buffalo etc have Apache inbuilt (in some of them). How can i install Apache to my NAS to host the website? I know that just changing DocumentRoot to the files on my NAS wont work because when the laptop is shutdown Apache is no longer running. Please help Thank You, Flinchy
