Installing Awstats on my GoDaddy host, need help. Please. It's Xmas! :(

I have 0 knowledge of Apache / Perl, nothing! And I want to install Awstats on my site www.GameFrat.com.

If anyone could help me I would be really grateful, documentation and such aren't cutting it. I'm soooo confused.

 

Normally AWStats comes pre-installed from the host. I am not sure how you can install it on godaddy server. Have you asked the godaddy support.

If you want to capture stats for your website, you can have a look at google analytics.

 

Why are you using GoDaddy, just us any cPanel host out there. Awstats come preinstalled

Well when I bought my site around a year ago GoDaddy was the cheapest.

 

Forget I even said Godaddy.

How do I install it on my host?

 

is it shared hosting/vps/dedicated?

If shared hosting, I don't think you are able to install because you need to able access the root for installing (i'm not sure thought), and godaddy have the most simple control panel....
