    Hello Emeddie,

Go to yourdomainname.com/wp-login.php and log into your admin area of your site.
Then you can set it up.

    I hope that helps

First thing to do would check if wordpress is actually an up to date version. My past experience of fantistico it generally installs month old versions of the script.

Tried to check it out, but comodo dns has blocked it due to excessive advertising. First time I've ever seen a warning due to too many ads. You may want to look at that.

If you installed it within HostGator, they should have sent a link to your email to your admin panel/site. Once you've gotten into your site, make sure you bookmark it for easy access.

At a glance you have to set nameservers and unpark stuff first.

Well since you have hostgator as your host then I assume that you already have your domain setup and such.

The very first step is login to your wp-admin.

    http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin

Go there, on your "Dashboard" you will get to see if there is an available update. If there is then you can update it automatically from there.

2nd Step is to find wordpress theme and plugins.

You can google "Free Wordpress Themes" or you can browse themes here http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/.

You can also browse wordpress.org for plugins that can enhance your site.

If you need someone to setup your site just drop me a PM =)

Not sure what else to do.. www.gotvisalia.com/wp-login.php and this takes me to a godaddy website, not sure what to do. I feel like calling hostgator and cancel my hosting service; I barely added it today....

    EMEDDIE,

Did you change your nameservers in your godaddy domain account?

    1. Get the email host gator sent you. It will have your nameservers listed
    2. Log into your godaddy account
    3. Click on My Account
    4. Click your domain name
    5. Go to Nameservers --> Set Nameservers
    6. Select I have specific nameservers for my domains
    7. Delete the current name servers.
    8. Add the nameservers provided by hostgator.
    9. Click ok.

After you set your name servers your domain name will point to your hosting account. If it does not work right away just take a break and come back tomorrow, because it can take up to 72 hours.

    I hope that helps.

If you're still having issues, call HostGator, their customer service is extremely good.
