Installed Wordpress in Sub Directory, Now Main Site Down

I just installed wordpress in the /blog/ directory of a site, and now get this error when accessing the main part of the site:

Access denied for user 'db_user'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Anyone familiar with this error?

I am using a different user and database name for wordpress, and the wordpress installation works ok.

 

check the setting on your wp-config.php..if all the needed of that file was provided all will be ok...hope it helps
