Hi all, I'm new to Digital Point. I found this lovely magazine theme on Theme Splice called The Stars. I downloaded it and tried to install the zip folder into my Wordpress, but I keep getting a "Stylesheet is missing error." Is there something I'm missing? I'm very new at web site management/design. So, I apologize in advance if this is a very newb question. Anyways, I'm really liking the community so far, extremely helpful. Is anyone familiar with this theme? Thank you.
You probably (or your FTP program) skipped over a file while uploading. It happens all the time. Just double check the theme files from your original download, with what you have on your server.
Thank you for the reply hmansfield, In the file I downloaded, when I check to be sure it didn't skip over a file, should I look for a file called style sheet? Thanks again.
Generally by style sheet, it means the 'style.css' file. If indeed your FTP did skip a file, it probably skipped more than one. It's a pain in the butt, but you should open up all the folders and subfolders of the install and make sure they match the original files.
