Installation of SquirrelMail or Roundcube on Shared Host

I've been wasting a few hours trying to install SquirrelMail or Roundcube on my hostgator shared host account. I realize that both are already a part of the hostgator cpanel, but I want a separate installation on a subdirectory.

With Roundcube I run into the problem of turning MagicQuotes Off and I can't change php.ini on my shared hosting plan. Plus, I'm sure if I solved that problem, there would be more that I can't solve with my limited skills. Squirrelmail was even worse as far as configuring all of the options that I know nothing about.

If you are familiar with installing one of these two programs on a shared host, let me know your rate to do so. Thanks

I too have used RoundCube a lot in the past, please feel free to PM me, I'm sure we can sort something out. You could just email HostGator and ask them to turn it off ;)
