Installation error Apache 2.2.3

    Dear Gurus,

    I am trying to install Apache -2.2.3 on Solaris 9. ./configure is successful with out any errors but when i run make it throughs following error

    # make
    make: Warning: Can't find `make.rules': No such file or directory
    Making all in srclib
    bash: all: command not found
    *** Error code 1
    make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all-recursive'


    Pls help what i need to do to get this resolved. Pls help..
