Install Script in Public_Html

    Hi,

    I need to install get_flash_videos into .usr/local/bin this was ok in dedicated.
    However in shared i don't have permission is there any alternative directory I can use
    This is very important for my site.

    Please help

    complied programs from root user are stored in usr/local/bin directory. As a normal user you can not do this.

    use root access to get the acces to those directories.

    You need root permission to is stall files in /usr/local. Other wise you need normal ssh acess , then you can install those under $HOME as prefix
