Install databases

    I am fairly new and want to learm how top install databases myself.
    Can do simple tasks like upload backups and change affilliate codsWhat is the best way or is there no simple answer

    Do you mean install a database in local computer or on hosting?
    What type of database, mssql or mysql or any other database ?

    Windows theirs a Setup file just to install MySQL - I'm sure the same on your flavor of *nix :)
