I tried to install it on a Godaddy shared linux hosting plan. Turns out they don't like proxy sites, and they don't allow for non parsed headers, which CGI-proxy uses. There is a way to run CGI-proxy without non parsed headers, but it didnt work for me on Godaddy. I decided to go with a dedicated server and cancel my Godaddy account.

I did keep the $25 Adwords credit that godaddy gave me for signing up though!

if you wanna run a good cgi proxy service then you need min 4gig ram and some opteron or xeon dedicated server. Just for begining

hey. so basically you got shafted since you had to cancel and they don't give refunds on their hosting?
