Hello all. I have 20 new domains registered and running separated on 3 different hosting servers. I need Wordpress installed and setup on all 20 domains, including a selection of themes and plugins and I need each blog configured with specific settings. Please also note that most domains are targeted at foreign countries/languages, so I need the wordpress localized language files activated. In short the job would involve this: For each URL do: - Install wordpress - Change language files - Upload and install plugins - Upload and install themes - Configure wordpress (permalinks, sitemap page, statcounter code, categories, blogroll etc…) - Delete standard posts and create first page & post I will give you cpanel access of all 3 hosting accounts and I will provide you with all files needed to install. E.g. wordpress in DK, NL and EN language, complete directory of plugins (about 15), complete directory of themes (about 19). Please read the steps below in detail. I need quality work! The list of urls involve 2 English blogs, 4 Dutch blogs and 14 Danish blogs. Below are the detailed steps that have to be performed for each wordpress install. There are several other ways to accomplish the same. You could e.g. also copy/migrate a complete standard install of wordpress to other domains… Or use a specific script to do things. It’s up to you. Here’s my manual suggestion: Wordpress install and config: 1. Install wordpress in the desired language (Danish or Dutch), with username ‘admin’. There are several methods for this, but here’s the manual method: a) use Fantastico from the cpanel to install Wordpress English version on the desired domain Username: admin Password: ****** E-mail: ****** Sitename: <use URL of blog, without the www. (e.g. mydomain.com)> Description <none> b) upload the language files of the desired language (NL.mo or DK_mo) to the folder /wp-content/languages/ (create folder if it doesn’t exist) c) change the language parameter in the wp-config.php file define (’WPLANG’, â€); for dutch: change to: define ('WPLANG', 'nl_NL'); for danish: change to: define ('WPLANG', 'da_DK'); 2. Login in backend, goto Settings, General and change the Wordpress Address (URL) and Blog address (URL) to the complete URL including www. (default install is without www.) 3. Save changes and login again 4. Upload all provided plugins to the plugin folder 5. Upload all provided themes to themes folder 6. Activate the plugins (not all but only the ones I will tell you) 7. Add Wordpress API key to Askimet (to be provided) 8. Activate the “Gear†theme 9. Goto Theme options and set the following settings to ‘Hide’: Logo visibility, Email's icon visibility, Search visibility, Banner's visibility 10. Goto Settings, General - change timezone to UTC +1 11. Change date format to dd/mm/yyyy 12. Change time format to hh:mm (24 hour system) 13. Goto Settings, Privacy –activate first option Blog visibility to ‘visible to anyone, including Search Engines’ 14. Goto Settings, Writing - replace new ping list (to be provided) 15. Goto Settings, Permalinks, Change permalink structure to %postname% (custom structure) 16. Goto Settings, Statcounter - add and activate statcounter settings (to be provided) 17. Goto Settings, DDSitemapGen, change language to specific language of site (to be provided) 18. Delete all links in blogroll/linkroll 19. Goto Posts, Categories –rename the default Category Name and Category Slug (Uncategorized) to the specific Category for each blog (to be provided. E.g. general) 20. Create a new page (this will be homepage; see title and text -- to be provided) 21. Create a Contact page (info will be provided) 22. Create a new page with the title/name Sitemap. Put in html (!!!) code: <!-- ddsitemapgen --> 23. Delete About page 24. Delete first post (Hello world) 25. Create a new post, with settings as described below per url. 26. Goto Settings, Reading and set Front page to show: “A Static page†and select the newly created homepage (see step 19) 27. Goto Appearance, Widgets and drag “Categories†and “SEO Tag Cloud†to the Sidebar Widget Details of all specific account settings and blog settings will be provided to the buyer. I guess somehow some of this should be able to be automated (exporting/importing databases?), but I hope to get this input from you! I have a standard Danish URL allready setup.
