Hi, I am trying to install an auto responder code into a squeeze page and I just cant get it. I know that the code works from using it on my word press site. I am using a pre made template in .jpg format. There is even a box for it in the picture.

Is it possible to do this with gimp 2? Or maybe I need to save to a different format first. There has got to be a way. And before you say it, Yes I need to get photoshop

The jpg format can be opened with any image editor.
Now depends of you if you know how to edit a image. Would be better if you have the source in psd/ai or any other format.IF you have just the jpg is nothing different if will you try converted into another format because the image is rasterized.

I thought I would have to change it to different format. Isn't psd a photoshop application only? What format do you suggest I use to edit the responder code into the page. Trying to use NVU or kompozer for editing. The page is a pre made squeeze page that has a blank box for the opt in box. It is in .jpg format and I am using gimp 2 to ad to the page. Then I want to save it to what format to edit it and put the code in. Is this correct procedure?

The .psd format can be openen with many applications, not only with photoshop.
I really don't know about what code you talk. You have a html page ?If so why you need to edit the image..I think you need to edit the html/css code.

Do you mean to add some code to the image ? That's impossible..
I think you have a html page and you need to edit it..not the image..

Can you post here a link or a screenshot ? This might help to understand about what you talk.
