    Hi Eric,
    I think Instagram doesn't have any use in SEO, but I've buyed an account with many followers, for a friends which manage a hotel in Italy. He began to shot promotional photos and offers, and he got a great revenue from his new followers.

    Hello
    Instagram can be used to promote your site but their is some rules. search engines will definitely crawl links on this site but what will be value of that link? this is the main thing. it's depend on the following things

    how many followers you have?
    how many likes you're receiving on your content you shared on Instagram?
    How many people shared your content?
    these three things decides the value of that link you made on Instagrm. If you don't have any like, share or follower then search engines will not give any value to that content or link.
    and these three things are applied to all major social sharing sites.

    Social media helps you build authority, including instagram. If a lot of people follow you and like you, google will see you as an authority. You will rank better. Thats whay social media presence is so important today.

    Instagram is such a good way to get traffic and organic customers. I personally used this, got 500k+ followers on a few accounts. If you do it right, you'll be able to gain people in no time!

    Instagram is great for brand image and attracting customers. But I believe, it is not that useful for SEO.

    Yes, to build what we call "social authority" but keep in mind that having zillions of links from IG only will trigger a bell at "G" so spread your social links wisely

    It won't do much for your SEO, but if you do things riht, you will get much more. From my experience - Instagram puts the personal touch in your brand. Creating a profile for your brand and letting your employees use it (wisely) to take pictures of things happening in your company (team buildings, office parties, branded toys etc.) can make your company seem more down to earth and customer friendly.
