I bought a copy of Instadigi, and the script works great and i am slowly receving abit of traffic and the content is superb!

 

Glad it worked out great for you. We are currently planning on adding some new features in the next upcoming update. Rather then that we are serving tons of forums now, and it has been working expectionally well for alot of forums.

Hello. I am starting an ew forum and I have been paying users $.10 to post on my new forum. It doesnt seem to be working out. So I have a few questions regarding Instadigi. If I pay the $70 for a license I can do unlimited posts/threads/etc..? Does it create different usernames to do replies/posts/threads? Thanks!

yes you have the option to use existing users or create new users, based on the keywords it fetches topics and answers and autopopulate. I've it successfully installed and works fine as expected.

Also backdated posting is very useful in my experience

 

Essentially it looks like the software pulls parts of posts on certain topics to create a fake thread - at least I think so, not sure. So if you want to have a forum about laptops, it will pull in a thread about laptops and recreate it, e.g. "want to buy laptop" as subject and then a post about it with replies. Hard to tell because I can't find the source and the threads can vary widely as to quality and coherence. Not sure if it pulls actual threads.

I'm impressed that it actually works to a reasonable extent but I wasn't thrilled with the quality of the postings that it would interest or unimpress visitors. I see a bunch of posts with capitalized first letters, some with a lot of nonsense all mixed in with good ones. If a good post works 50% of the time, it's impressive from a tech standpoint, may bring you hits from search engines, but is pretty obviously junky when a user gets there. So it does have a purpose. Do you have some examples of sites using this tool well? I'm hoping to delete the instadigi posts after the forum is populated as well - is this easy to do? I don't want to look at all the posts and try to delete individual threads.

Thank you for your review, yes we do have sites as we are currently supporting more then a 100+ forums, but we dont disclose information about our customers, the feedback that we have received is based on the fact that they are experiencing an increase of members activity ofcourse content and higher results in SERP rankings. Please do drop me a PM and maybe i can arrange to show case one of the forums that are doing really well with the forum owners permission. Along with that you might have to manual delete them as we dont have a function for that but thats why we have enclosed in the script how many threads are being generated in order to keep track of them.

Maybe just save all the category ID in notepad and then in the future delete them.

OK..so I got warned for posting in a wrong section, so I'm going to post here instead. Sorry to the forum admin.. Anyways..

Since that their email support is slow and reply wrongly, and no phone number at their website, I have to go around and ask people.

I've sent emails to Instadigi regarding domain license. My current server is at its beta stage therefore my partner haven't bought any domain name yet. So I email Instadigi asking if I can put in IP address instead in Instadigi's Accounts page, and they said yes.

So when I go ahead installing the 11d version and it displayed me this form that I need fill in:

Email Address:
Serial Number:

So I went into Instadigi's Account page and put in my IP address without no trailing slashes or http:, and then I get

You have entered an invalid domain. Please ensure that you have keyed in the domain name WITHOUT the starting http:// and there should be no trailing '/' at the end of the domain.

Correct Example: 'instadigi.com'
Incorrect Example: 'http://instadigi.com' or 'instadigi.com/'

I emailed them and I get :

Hi there, try uploading this version of the script. IT should rectify your
problem. If you're still experiencing problems, please provide us with
your FTP information and we will fix the problem for you on your website.

Also I bought a license of your script a long time ago but my partner used the wrong domain name. I need to change the domain name I was wondering if I could do it without incurring any charges..
