    First of all, you have to know that you can't make a serious business by your own. You need to find good people, to invest, to research and to built many websites. You need many websites because the ups & downs with Google Panda are pretty serious. I am doing affiliate marketing for 5 years but started my first AMAZON website at the beginning of 2012.

    Very important as well is to invest as much as you can from what you earn. Don't take all your money and go to holiday after your first xxxx month :) You can't build something big if you don't treat your websites like an offline business.

    Read forums, read a lot, read everything you can on AMAZON. At a certain moment you might feel that you've lost 3 hours by reading some things you already know but 2 lines after 4 hours of reading can make the different. Believe me :)

    Research a lot, work a lot, externalize a lot. This is the KEY. If you know how to read it, you are one step ahead of 99% of the people who want to make money online.

    Skip free domains like blogspot and invest in one .com domain and a hosting.
    Focus on one niche and get the best products in your reviews. Make you reviews complete, correct and unique. No less than 450-500 words.
    Create a fixed schedule and keep adding content on a daily basis. When you have some money to invest, find a good writer and pay him 2.5$/review. If you do the write thing the money you spent on writers will come back very soon.

    Once you have a 25-30 page website think about expanding your business. Always think big and expand you limits.

    As you can imagine, I can't :)
    What I can tell you is that my big earner has over 2000 of unique pages and it's just a few months old. All the pages are targetted to a specific niche under well-researched keywords. Nothing is build without having a plan in mind.

    Other 35-40% of the earnings are coming from 50 more websites targetted just on one specific niche. All of them are also having just 3-4 months.
    To be able to reach here, I started with AMAZON last year on the 2nd of Jan. I made research, read a lot, tried different kind of websites and formats, constantly trying to find a niche which I can dominate once I will start the entire websites building process.

    It depends on your option.
    I managed to have 4$+/sale also because I had the 8% comission. Though, On my websites I am always aiming the very good products from every category even if the prices are more expensive. The reason is simple: People with money buy more than people who are searching mid-quality products and because they have money, the price is not in TOP 3 things they are looking on.

    I bought just a few gigs for a social related service. Rest of the links came from my other projects so the investment in backlinking was very low.

    GAve out some very valuable info here. I'm going to do niche sites later in 2013... I see that with Amazon, if you're not focusing mainly on selling amazon products, you won't make much unless you have thousands of daily visitors..
