Inserting Google Metatag in my website

    To verify my site with google I need to insert Meta tag in my website.
    Google only show you an example of inserting it into a html website.
    I have PHP website and i dont know where to insert the metatag

    You can also verify your site with uploading a file your server, but i get a 404 page..so google cant verify it.

    Plz help

    your website is dynamic or static if you have static site than you can insert meta tag like any html site, or if you have dynamic it will be different method.

    Hi,

    If you can send me the URL of your website and the source of your index.php page (I don't need the full source but just the top few lines before the <body> tag). Once I have this then I will let you know how you can do this.

    I think you can install in footer.tpl

    {literal}
    google code here
    {/literal}

    Place before body.
    At least thats where mine went.
